On the beach, in the distance, Jane notices someone riding a horse and when she gets closer, she noticed that it is Filipe.
“Filipe!” She yells out to get his attention.
Filipe turns his horse around and rides towards Jane.
“What are you doing here? Are you even allowed here?” Filipe asks.
“No, the orphanage does not know that I am not with the school hiking. Guess they will find out soon enough. Why are you not with the school?” Jane asks.
“Hurt my ankle so will join them as soon as it is better,” Filipe says.
“Should you be riding your horse with your ankle?” Jane wonders.
“Yeah, it is fine,” Filipe says as they ride next to each other.
“So where are you staying?” Filipe wonders.
“At the Yellow Inn, I got a summer job,” Jane says, proud of herself.
