After Jane scheduled daily one on one with Mrs. Renaldi, she went to her classes. All her classes are with Lilly, Cindy, and Filipe and Jane does her best just to avoid eye contact with everyone. ‘I have to tell Filipe off, perhaps then Lilly will get off my back,’ Jane thinks, scribbling in her notebook. After school Jane decided to skip any sports activities altogether and went to the beach. After about half an hour Filipe found her and sat next to her, “what’s up?”
“Filipe, I wonder if perhaps we can put some distance between us?” Jane asks.
“Why?” Filipe asks confused.
“Lilly is not going to stop making my life hell while you are hanging around me like a love-sick puppy,” Jane says, not sure how to express herself.
