Derek had already left because when we opened the curtain he was gone. I wondered what was going on with him. We said goodbye to Danny and Harlowe and moved on to Daken’s room down the hall.
Before we turned the corner I saw someone I thought I’d never see outside of her house again.
Misty came walking down the hall with a clipboard and wearing a red and white striped dress!
“Misty?” I asked as if my eyes deceived me.
“Luna Alpha!” she came rushing over to us, excited and clutching her clipboard. “Oh thank the Gods! It’s so good to see you!”
