He and Tony had been outside talking to the team about tomorrow’s game and came back into school from the side door to help with the clothing project again. It just so happened that they walked in on Sasha sprawled on the floor and Ruby screaming her head off at her friends about Sasha being in her way to get the bad boy.
They stepped into view just as she was advancing on poor Sasha and he spoke up to stop her from doing what she intended with the amount of malice in her expression. He’d seen Ruby throwing a fit before, but something about Sasha just seemed to drive her over the edge.
He threatened her with the law and watched her stalk off. Her friends were staring at him with wide eyes when they realized that they could be seen as accomplices in whatever Ruby would attempt. T
