“Brother… was worried about me?” Edward never expected his brother to ask about him. It was a strange feeling to find out like this.
“You probably don’t know about it, but Ashton had actually started reading the same books you do. He wanted to have a common topic to talk with you about when you come over…” Ethan continued talking uninterrupted as the other student listened intently.
“He wanted to talk with me…” As if each word took a long time to be processed by the student, Edward looked up with a baffled expression.
“Ashton always wanted to talk with you and be close to you. But each time he would try and invite you over you acted like you couldn’t stand him. In truth he was very hurt by it, even though he didn’t show it.” Ethan continued speaking
