Craig's POV
“I've been keeping an eye on you, Craig. I'm not dumb to see how you care for Athena.” I nearly choked when Raienne suddenly talked out of the blue.
We're having our dinner and I was enjoying every second of it but not until she spilled the tea.
“What the hell, Raienne? Are you out of mind? Why would I care for her?”
“Uh-huh. I've been catching you, staring at her and would look away when stare at you. I know you care and it's okay to care, Craig. You do t have to show it.” I'm seriously out of words, I'm speechless. I wasn't expecting those words from my naive little sister.
I cleared my throat. “It's okay to care but the thing is, I don't care. Yes, I do stare at her because she's a beauty but I won't let myself care for someone like her,” I lied.
