During our first face-to-face meeting after my return to Silver Rain, Josh and I were overjoyed to learn Sophie, Marcus' mate, was pregnant. It was their first pup.
“Oh, Goddess, we are so happy!” Marcus exclaimed, his eyes shining with joy. We hugged and congratulated him, sharing his excitement.
Marcus has always been so serious since we were pups, but Sophie got out this other side of him. And he was no longer embarrassed or ashamed of being himself and being vulnerable, too.
“Let me tell you, morning sickness is a b*itch! Be ready for that.” Josh joked.
“You don’t have to tell me about it! I hate them. My stomach only accepts sparking water and soda crackers...” Marcus complained rubbing his stomach, acting cute when he noticed what he had just said.
