"I do understand, and I would never do anything to hurt Clover, I promise," Stuart said to Vienna.
"There has not been a whole lot of normal in Clover's life and she needs all the friends she can get, but I will not let you be around if you don't agree to let her grow up and experience the things she should. Even if you think you have some odd claim on her," Vienna told him.
Stuart looked down, and she could feel him fighting with his decision before looking up at her. "I promise not to stand in the way of her having a normal life, and I will keep this from her until she has come into her own."
Vienna nodded, knowing that they had agreed, for now. Looking down at Liam, who smiled at her, she announced, "I think it is time the girls and I went home. Their life needs some normal in it."
