Liam watched, unable to move at first when Vienna slowly hovered and rose above the ground. When she spoke, her voice sounded like there were several women's voices coming from her. When Martin screamed, Liam was suddenly able to move again, freed from his spell. Whatever hold Martin had on him was gone. Suddenly Vienna dropped. Liam quickly reached out for her, catching her before she could hit the ground.
Looking up, Liam saw a flame surrounding Martin before he was gone. A small burn mark on the floor was the only sign of where he had been. Looking down at Vienna, he brushed her hair back, worried because she looked so pale. He could actually feel her pulse within him. Stuart moaned, working his way over to them, holding his side.
