CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE
Two hours later he feels composed enough to go back to the Cosmopolitan. He rings Avis, tells them his story. Asks them to keep the laptop. It is under the front passenger seat. The fact that he left it might convince Johnny Tran not to search. Tran would hope the cash was there, but surely after everything Tran wouldn’t think he’d leave 3ooK in the boot of the BM. Tran would think Travis had gone to the Cosmopolitan to try and lose him, not for Katya and Perry. Would he know about those two? Unlikely.
