CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR Katya and Perry spent a few nights at the Hilton in East Melbourne. They kept low key after checking in, watched movies, ordered room service, never opening the door, asking for the trays to be left outside. The room wasn’t serviced, they left the towels outside the door, and the housemaids brought clean ones and toilet paper. They didn’t touch the mini-bar; they had supplies of their own. Perry was nervous about Katya. They checked into another Airbnb on the morning Travis was due to start at Andy Chui’s gambling club. They never met the host, because there was a code to the front door and to the apartment in Preston.
