‘I’m checked out now. I’ll Uber to the Sheraton. I’m at Hertz on Elizabeth Street.’
‘Any problems?’
‘A s**t fight to be honest. I need to see a doctor, get some stitches. There’s a guy in Reservoir will do it. One of them was high on ice, and they were both angry, but yeah, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about them. Ahn’s father’s friends gave me a working over the first night, as a warning.’
‘You earned your cash. Get back to Sydney as soon as you can. You work for me now.’
