The Broken She-wolf

Chapter 9: The Legend

     They all enter the conference room gathering around the large round table solid brown oak table in the middle with enough leather desk chairs for everybody plus more surrounding the table.  "What do you mean I am special," Allison asks getting right to the point.

     "Its going to be a long story and I will tell you all that I know, but there might be more," Daniella states, "In the beginning there is a legend that all the magical creatures with be at war among themselves, which displeases the moon goddess, but not only are we at war among ourselves but we have to worry about hunters and rogues from each of our clans and yours."  Daniella takes a deep breath and starts again as Allison and everybody sits and listens, "it is said that the moon goddess will send a person that is stronger than any of us and has the strongest powers from each magical creatures, but none of weaknesses, it is also said that she has the power to unite each of us and get us to stand together.  She is said to the strongest out of all of us and she is the queen of all magical creatures."  Daniella takes a drink of water as she is explaining this and continues, "the dark part of this legend is that we have been so consumed at being at war with each other the hunters will take that as a chance to rid us, and if that succeeds we all will be extinct, so you are very important to all of us."  Daniella finishes her story and looks at them everybody looking at Allison in shock including her oldest brother.  Allison is staring at Daniella with her jaws drop.

     As soon as Allison can find her voice, "I can't be the chosen one, I am not queen material."

     "What makes you say that my Queen?" Luscious smiles.

     "I have been through a lot from my old pack, and I have not done anything to defend myself against them," Allison explains, "I just stood there and took it.

     "Ah, but when we met at the lake you held your own and showed that you were not scared," Luscious pointed out with a smile, "plus you not retaliating against the people who hurt and wronged you shows that you are strong enough to be a queen."

     "Your the vampire that Allison met at the lake!" James exclaimed in shock.

     "Yes he is," Allison states, "I told you I met a vampire."

     "Yes," James looking at Allison with shock in his eyes, "but you didn't tell me he was a duke of the vampires."  Allison looks back at Luscious questionably.

     "To her defense I didn't tell her," Luscious stated, "it was to soon to tell her."

     "Allison," Daniella interrupts them, "there is another part of the legend that states that you have guards from each of the magical creatures, that is supposed to protect you without fail.  It is also said that the guards will recognize you right away."

      "Do you know who they are?"  Allison asks.

     "Well," Daniella starts, "I am one of them and so is Luscious, and I think the young man that you were with at the mall was one."

     "Matt come to the conference room right away," James mind links him.

     "Yes Alpha," Matt immediately replied and before they new it he was already opening the door.

     "Please have a seat," James commanded with respect, "you need to be a part of this conversation."  James starts to catch Matt up to where they were.  Matt is giving him his utmost attention so he didn't miss anything.

      "I felt this overwhelming since to keep her safe," Matt stated.

     "Actually all of us in the pack do," James chimed in.

     Daniella looked at the group in front of her and smiles, "well it looks like you have more people to protect you then what was foretold."

     "Um," Allison slowly starts, "this is a bit overwhelming and I need to collect my thoughts and need some time to myself."

     "Allison we can grant that as long as you stay in or around the pack house," James stated, "if you want to go farther in the territory one of us will have to accompany you."

     "I will I am just going to my room and lay down," Allison reassures him.  Allison goes to her room and shuts the door.  She sits on her bed and lays her head in the palm of her head.  "I cant be the chosen one," she thought to herself, "they are mistaken."  Allison soon falls asleep into a deep slumber, but her dreams are far from calming.  She wakes up in a start and finds that Luscious is next to her reading a book.  "What are you doing here?"

     "Well seeing as I am a vampire," Luscious smiles, "and I sleep when its light I decided that I will be the first to stand guard."

     "But in my room?" Allison growls a little.

     "Yes well at first I was just outside the door," Luscious now looking at her, "but sensing your feelings of not being at ease I felt that I should be in her just in case."

     "Oh well that is creepy," Allison states and lays back down on her bed.

     "Sorry, I don't mean to be creepy," Luscious chuckled.

      "What time is it?" Allison asks.

     "Its almost five in the morning," Luscious replied, "and with it coming close to dawn I need to go.  Oh and Alpha James has been kind enough to give both Daniella and I a rooms, mine of course is in the cellar since there are no windows there."

     Allison is still laying in her bed finally decides that she was going to go to the gym to blow off some steam.  She gets up and gets her work out clothes and heads down there.  Allison was at the punching bag, "THERE YOU ARE!!!!!!!" Harley exclaims exasperated, "I been looking all over for you."

     "I been here since five in the morning," Allison stated, "I needed to blow off steam and seeing as I couldn't sleep anymore because all the information swirling around in my head this was the best option."  Harley joined Allison on the treadmill and worked out with her as they talked about everything, well Allison did all the talking and venting while Harley just listened like friends should do.  Allison over the next few days have been mainly working out and training.  She started training with Daniella and Luscious, as well, so that she could control and discover her witch and vampire abilities.  They have found out that she had the speed of a vampire and her witch powers were amazing, she had the ability to make shields for everybody, but then she noticed that using her magic also drained her energy, so she decided that in any fight her magic would be the last resort.  She also have been having very vivid dreams of her and Gregg together and they were very s****l.  Always ending up with him pinning her and touching and kissing everywhere, but Allison seemed to enjoy every bit of it, and making her wake up aroused every time.

     Gregg finally came back, but without Josh.  "Allison," Gregg greets with a smile, but it soon disappeared when he seen her training with a witch, "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!"

     Allison steps in front of him before he could try and do anything to Daniella she touches his arm knowing that the only way to calm him down was to touch him.  Jacob hurriedly comes out to stop Gregg from doing something, but stopped when he sees that Allison is calming the situation he slowly saunters down the hill and stands with them.  "Gregg this is Daniella," Allison introduces, "and she is under this packs protection along with a vampire, his name being Luscious, whom you will meet tonight."

     "What do you mean under this packs protection??" Gregg asking harshly, "we have not been on good terms with them in a while."

     Allison pinches her nose between two fingers, "Gregg they are here to protect me."

     "What do you mean? Why?" Gregg starts with questions, but looked at Jacob, "what happened?"

     "Its a long story," Jacob states.  All of a sudden he felt a wave of serenity in him and he turns around and sees Jaime walking down to them.  He rushes up to her and pulls her as close as he could taking in her scent.  Jaime just laughs and then they shared a very passionate kiss, and then it started to get more than passionate as they were almost eating each others face.  Allison coughs and gets their attention, Jaime is blushing and Jacob is smiling ear to ear.

     "Its been a long time Allison," Jaime starts with a smile, "you look good."

     "Thank you," Allison smiles, "Jacob I can handle this here if you want to go show her around and stuff."  Jacob not hesitating started dragging Jaime along with him up to the pack house with everybody laughing.

"Gregg there is a lot to talk about," Allison said when she turned back to him, "and there is a lot to take in, but right now this is not the time, go get settled and I will meet you in your room, by the way where is Josh?"

     "Josh is back at the pack handling my business, while I am here with you," Gregg told her, "I need you to come back with me."

     "I can't right now Gregg," Allison sighed, "at least not right now, I have to stay here."

     "Why?" Gregg questions with hurt showing in his eyes, "my pack is your home."

     "Gregg I need to stay here for the time being," Allison states, "and as for that pack being my home it stopped being my home a long time ago."

     "The pack regrets everything," Gregg pleads, "and I regret everything."

     "Gregg I have things I need to do here," Allison states annoyingly, "plus I need to finish my training here so go get settled in your room so we can talk."

     "Okay," Gregg eyes Daniella to make sure that he wasn't making a mistake leaving her alone, "don't be to long please."  Allison turns back to Daniella to finish her training while Gregg goes to his room and get settled.  Daniella sees that he is distracted at the moment tells her they can continue tomorrow and tells her to go deal with Gregg.  Allison nods even though she was not ready to face him slowly walks back up the steep slope to the pack house.  Before she goes to Gregg's room she takes a shower and gets dressed and freshens up.

     Allison then makes her way to Gregg's room, just when she was about to knock the door comes flying open, and Gregg is standing in front of her in a pair of tight black jeans showing off his muscles in the lower region and no shirt.  Allison takes a while taking in every inch of his muscles on his torso his 12 pack abs and his bulging biceps.  Gregg stands there smirking as he watches her, soon their eyes met and they had a staring contest for what seemed like hours, but instead it was only a few minutes, Allison the one that breaks away, "we need to talk."

     "Please come in, and I hope you liked what you saw," Gregg smirks at the last comment noticing that she was starting to blush a good shade of red on her cheeks.

     Allison sits on a chair and takes a deep breath, "I know you want me to come back to the pack, but I for one need to stay her at least for now, and two I am not so sure that everybody will want me there."

     "They all want you there," Gregg states convincingly, "as for staying here why we can protect you there just like here."

     "You don't understand there are things that I cannot tell you as of yet, but I have to stay here," Allison now staring into Gregg's eyes, "I want to tell you and I understand that you have to go back to the pack and can't stay, but this has been my home for the past two years for one, and everybody has accepted me in and treated me like part of the pack from the first day."  Allison's emotions in her eyes were conflicting, "Plus James made sure that I was safe on the bus and wouldn't let anybody harm me."

     Gregg walks closer to Allison and kneels down next to her.  He caresses her cheek every so lightly, "I understand and Josh is there so if there are any problems he can let me know through mind link, plus I can do business here until you are ready to come back," Gregg showing that he is sincere and understanding, nothing like he used to towards Allison.

     "Gregg I can't ask you to do that," Allison sighs with tears in her eyes, "it's unfair to you."

     "I have been unfair to you Allison," Gregg with warm eyes showing he means what he says, "you told me you will give me a month to show you I have changed."

     "I did agree to that," Allison giggled a little, "but it might take longer than that between what I have found out and what is going on now."

     "I will give you however much time you need love," Gregg assured her.  Allison stares into his eyes to see if he really meant what he said, and seeing that there was no sign of him lying to her smiles.  Gregg leans up to kiss her forehead and then goes to give her a peck on the lips, but soon they were making out and he had her pinned up against the wall kissing heavily.

     Allison broke away first and pushes him back.  He lets her go and she runs out the door in a hurry leaving Gregg there in utter shock about what just happened.  He wanted to go after her, but knew that she needed to have some space, so he opened up his laptop and started to do some work on there.

     "Allison," Harley seen her and seen all the emotions that was flowing threw her, "is everything okay?"

     "Yes fine thank you," Allison smiles softly, "its just Gregg and I had a talk."

     "OH," Harley smirks, "and how did that go."

     Allison tells her everything that happened and said.  "Do you know what you need?" Harley asks and states at the same time, "you need to go out and have some fun."

     "I know I do, but what about everything that is going on?" Allison looking at her.

     "Well I am sure Matt, Marcus, and everybody would enjoy a fun night out,"  Harley points out, "plus as of yet everybody needs it."  Daniella walks up and heard this.

     "I agree with Harley that we all need some fun," Daniella agreed, "I will at least join in, but we will have to wait until Luscius wakes up to ask him."

     Allison smiles at her and agrees with the both of them, "where shall we go?"

     "Well there is a bar down in the city that we can go to," Harley suggests looking at Allison then at Daniella and noticing a frown.

     "I don't know if that is wise," Daniella starts, "but I will be with you along with Matt so I think it should be okay."  Allison gets excited at this and seeing that it was almost three runs to her room pulling Harley into the room.

     "You are going to help me get ready to go," Allison smiles at Harley.

     "Of course," Harley giggles at Allison, "lets look at your wardrobe and see what you got."  Harley is going through Allison's closet, while Allison takes a shower.  Harley pulls out a light blue dress that is a little darker than sky blue with spaghetti straps, and smiles and grabs the blue dress shoes that match.  Just as Harley picks the dress Allison steps out from the bathroom and sees the dress.

     "I don't know," Allison says as she is looking at the dress, "that shows off a little to much."

     "So," Harley smirks looking at Allison, "we are going to have fun and this would look great on you."  Allison gives in and puts some black lacy underwear on no bra since the dress wouldn't allow it, and puts the dress on.  The dress is cut so low that it shows off her chest making her breasts pop out and fits her curves perfectly as it fit snuggly against her body and stopped midway between her knees and butt.  Harley sits Allison down and starts to put make-up on.  "You are going to look gorgeous," Harley smiles, "all the guys are going to drool."

     Meanwhile, Jacob is in Greggs with Gregg, "they decided to go out and have fun."

     "Where are they going?"  Gregg asks nonchalantly.

     "Jaime says a club down in Boulder," Jacob states.  Greg looks up from his computer stopping his work and glares.

     "I am going with them," Gregg states.

     "Allison, Harley, and everybody is going including Daniella and Lucious," Jacob laughs, "she will be okay."

     "Still I am going," Gregg grumbles starting to get ready to go.

     "Jaime and I are going with as well, we figured that we need some fun time as well," James states.

     "Good," Gregg smiles, "more the merrier.

     "Well I am going to get ready seeing as the girls should be ready anytime now," Jacob gets up and opens the door.  As everybody got done getting ready they all met in the foyer.  Allison was the last person to make her way down.  Gregg notices her coming down the stairs looks up slowly going up her long beautiful golden tan legs the way her dress fit her curves that made his jaw drop to the ground.  "Oh my god she is gorgeous," he stated to himself and seeing all the guys look at her he starts getting possessive and protective.  He quickly gets up and is by her side.

     "You need to change," Gregg states with conviction.

     "Gregg you cannot keep telling me what I can and cannot wear," Allison says as she continued walking to the rest of the group.

     "I should be the only one allowed to see you like this," Gregg harshly states.

     "Gregg I am not worried about anything I have enough people here to protect me from any harm," Allison points out, "plus I am my own person and I will wear what ever I want."  Allison then storms out the door to two SUV's sitting in front so that they can all group together.  Allison sat in the first car in between Aspen and Gregg as he made sure that he was in the same car as her.  Luscius was driving and Daniella was in the passenger seat.  Everybody else took the second car.  "Oh," Allison finally spoke to Gregg, but only quickly, "this is Luscious."

     Gregg looks at him and greets him as nicely as he could since he was a vampire and they were at war with the werewolves along with the witches.  Everybody in each car was having a nice conversation, Gregg was holding Allison's hand looking around everywhere protectively.  Finally they reached the club which was in the middle of the city.
