"This is our last day together, tomorrow is our goodbye..." He said and plays Helliana's fingers while laying next to her, "Promise me," his voice cracked, "That...you will wait for me."
Helliana holds back her tears, she looked up and stopping her shoulder to tremble.
"Please answer me, you will wait for me. I will go there whenever I have free time." He promised while his eyes welled up with tears.
"Yes, yes, I p--promise, Eustas," she answered and breaking down. Her tears ran down from her eyes through her rosy cheeks.
"I will send a letter make sure to send back one for me," he said in a shaky voice and kiss her palm.
She sobbed silently covering her mouth with another hand.
"Helliana," he called her again.
"Y--yeah, I will send always. I will write about my day."
He whispers, "That's good. I love you, you wanna eat?" he changed the topic and sits. Helliana hurriedly wiped her tears but Eustas saw it before she wipes it off.
"I'm sorry, I made you cry again." He moved closer to her and wipe it with his bare thumb finger, "From now on, we will not cry, okay?"
"I can't promise,"
"Why?"
"Because you are also crying." She sobbed again.
Eustas didn't know that he is now crying, he thought he is done. He is about to wipe it off but Helliana pulled him to her.
His face is now buried in her neck, sniffing and stopping himself to cry more.
"Why are you crying? I thought you'll gonna visit me, then why are you sad?!" she yelled in a hug to him tight.
"I-i'm sorry, I can't help it, baby. It's just, I'll long for your hug, kisses, annoying face, and cuddle," he said while his shoulders and lips are trembling.
"What's with my annoying face?" she asked and laugh.
"I just love it when your brows meet in the middle like you are gonna eat me whole," he replied and laugh too even tears is falling from his eyes just like Helliana.
"What the f*ck, Eustas? Are you pissing me off or complimenting me?" she asked assured that it is not but Eustas hugged her more.
He whispers, "No, that's a compliment. I love everything about you."
In the middle of their emotional talk. Helliana's stomach disturbed them when it rumbling like there are people inside that are fighting. They stare at each other until she laughs.
"My stomach is hungry, we will be alright, okay?" he stated and dried the excess tears in his under the eye.
"Yeah, I told you that let's eat but you cried." He pinched her cheeks, "I love you. Get up, baby."
"Wait up, Eustas."
Eustas waited for her. She stands up and hugs his back while walking out.
"I will miss your natural smell," she commented.
Eustas hold her grip in his waist, "I will miss your whole being."
Happiness shimmered inside her, she couldn't contain it but let out a sweet smile.
"What we'll gonna eat tonight?" she asked and let him go.
"I cooked fish for us. I am lucky today that I caught 5 fishes! Yehey! My baby can eat the three fishes."
Helliana held her chest and smile. Eustas looks so happy so she is, "But you should eat the more than fishes than mine, you caught it."
"Of course not, it is for you. Hmmm? I love you," he said and touch her nose using his nose.
"So, let's eat? I wanna taste it, you are a good cook." She holds his hand to pull him and sit at the small rock they put on like a chair.
"You still don't know how to eat that fish, are you?" Eustas asked and laughs seeing her remained looking at fishes on her plate.
She made a fake smile looking at him with a dismal look, "Yeah, sort of. I am afraid it will point again in my fingers, its bones are dangerous." She explained while still embarrassed about it.
"Dangerous?" he asked and raise his right brow. He smiled, "Fishes bones aren't dangerous as you think, my love. Let me teach you again, hmmm?" he grabbed the plate from her hand and put it above his thighs.
"I'm sorry, did I disappointed you?" she asked shyly.
Eustas stopped from what he is doing and stare at her with doubt on his face, "No, why would I? I will be happy doing this for you for the rest of our lives." He smiled sweetly as he melts Helliana's heart.
"But I thought you want an independent woman, a man like you deserves a woman who can take care of you, cook for you, make you a breakfast, lunch, and dinner." He softly said to him while playing her fingers in her thighs. She is a princess, she never did such things. Her father did his very best to treat his princess like a princess of them all.
His forehead creased, "No, I only deserved you. Stop thinking things that can hurt you or might hurt you, that is not good."
She pouted her lips and nodded, "So, teach me again, Eustas. If we see each other again, I will let you know that I knew how to wash dishes, eat fish and wash my own clothes."
He gave her a huge smile, it makes him fall for her again and again, "You really don't have any idea how you make me fall in love with you again and again, do you? Such an innocent baby."
Her cheeks reddened as she covers it with her palm. "Of course, I don't know."
"Here, I already separate the bones, eat well. You don't really need to learn about those, I can wash dishes and clothes. I can do all just for you, by." He winked and start to peel the fruits in his hands.
"But that's unfair for you, loving me is the biggest and important thing you did for me and that's enough."
"It wasn't, you still have to give me son." He seriously said.
Helliana's jaw dropped, "Eustas!" she s*****d his shoulder in shock.
He laughed and acting like he didn't do anything wrong, "What?"
"What are you saying? You are unbelievable." She covered her mouth to stop laughing but he couldn't stop it anymore.
"Helliana, I am dead serious. Like you know, I want a baby from you. We will build our own family..."
She stopped laughing when she knew that Eustas is really serious about it. Helliana looked at him intently while he is peeling an Apple.
"Can I ask something, Eustas?"
Eustas faced her with a smile plastered on his face, "Go on, ask me anything you want. I can answer you honestly and wholeheartedly," he said.
She deeply sighs, Helliana still didn't know how to ask her. She knew that they can not live happily ever after. Someday, Eustas will know about her true identity and it will break her heart, no, their hearts.
"How do you see me?"
"Eat your food, you are not eating," he commanded, Helliana nodded and bite a fish as Eustas put fruit on her plate. "How do I see you?"
"Yeah,"
"From the first time we made love, from there, I have started to see you as my future..." His grip on the small knife he is holding went tight.
It made Helliana stopped eating, her heartbeat is racing fast.
"I wanna be with you forever. I want to start to build a family with you, just with you."
