A gentle knock at the door startled her breaking her reverie. “Come in” she called closing the book and setting it aside. Adam stepped inside his presence filling the room effortlessly. He wasn’t in his usual sharp suits or casual attire. Instead he wore an open-collared shirt and dark trousers a look that softened the usual intensity he carried. “Are you busy?”
