2 ᴅᴀʏs ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ......

It was now Monday, we sat in IHOP. As in we I mean Mar, Tamia, Twan, Jaylee, Twan lil girlfriend and her friend that had been eyeballing me the whole time we were here. I don't know her but she seems to know me.

I guess Tamia peeped the staring cause she was sizing the girl. "Tamia stop" I mumbled to where only she could hear me. She rolled her eyes and sat back crossing her arms. I looked across from me at Mar and Jaylee coloring as we waited for our food. I snapped a quick picture then sat back locking my phone.

"Oh yeah, Tahlia this my girlfriend Shaniya and her friend Bianca" Twan spoke as the Bianca girl rolled her eyes. "Hey, I'm Tahlia" I spoke before the waiter approached the table.

I grabbed Jaylee's food and cut up her waffles and tenders before passing it back and doing the same for me. I put syrup on my waffles and tenders and put some on Jaylee food. "I got it Lia" Mar said as he started feeding Jaylee. I nodded and began eating.

"Ain't even his baby and he doing all this" I heard the Bianca girl mumble to the Shaniya girl. I rolled my eyes "I' ma just get four to go plates cause I can't deal with this today not today" I said causing everybody to look at me.

"What happened," Twan asked sitting up closer to the table placing his attention on me.

"For one I'm not finna deal with your girlfriend and her friend I don't even know them but they seem to know me since they speaking on me over there Bianca seems to know me eyeballing me and stating the obvious that Mar is not Jaylee father. I know that and so does everybody else at this table him and he just got a good ass bond ok so stop speaking on me and besides that Tamia has a doctor's appointment, so let me go ahead and head that way" I said standing up as the waiter brought out to-go plates and cups.

I put my good into the Togo plate and did the same with Jaylee's as everybody else put their stuff into Togo ware. I grabbed my food and drinks and phone with Jaylee right behind me. I rolled my eyes remembering Mar had my keys.

Everybody else walked out of the restaurant and I stood by my car as they headed towards me. "Aye, y'all gonna have to find y'all a way home cause y'all redeal disrespected my cousin," Twan said looking at them.

"Antwan you really choosing her over me," she said while pointing in his face. "Aye sis back up out my cousin's face he won't hit you but I will now like he said you disrespected my sister so you gotta go and his name, not Antwan it's just Twan stop tryna take guesses at his name," Tamia said.

She looked Tamia up and down before rolling her eyes and pulling her friend away we all got into the car and headed towards my house. Tamia's doctor appointment wasn't until 11 so we had time to finish our food and take naps.

My alarm went off indicating that it was now 10. I pushed the covers back carefully not tryna wake up Jaylee. I tapped Mar and he looked at me. "I'm finna take Tamia to the doctor can u keep Jaylee with you," I asked barely above a whisper. He nodded and I slipped on my vans and walked out of my room.

Walking down the hallway I went into Tamia's room and woke her up. "Get ready," I said walking out and back to my room walking in the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I rinsed my sink out then walked into the room grabbing my phone, wallet, and keys.

I walked out of the room and met Tamia in the living room. I looked over at the couch and laughed lightly at Twan hanging halfway off the couch sleep. "This nigga," I said as we walked out the front door. I closed the door behind me and locked it with my key.

I walked towards the parking lot and pressed the unlock button on my keys before we got in. I started my car and put my seat belt on before backing out of my parking space.

Tamia connected her phone to the Aux and started playing music. I going her and the music out and started driving down the street.

After Tamia's doctors appointment, I stopped by a Chinese place. While waiting in the drive-thru my phone started ringing so I answered the FaceTime seeing Mar name.

"Wassup," I said placing my phone on my lap and moving up in line. "Where u at," he asked as I glanced down seeing him holding a sleeping Jaylee and it didn't look like my house in the background so I instantly scrunched up my face.

"At the Chinese place! Where u at?" I said as I moved up to the board to decide what to get. "My moma crib pulls up over here she wanna see u and get me some food," he said stuffing sunflower seeds in his mouth.

"Oh ight and I was finna do that anyway," I said placing my order and ordering everybody food. "Get 5 jumbo eggs rolls," Tamia said typing on her phone.

"And let me get 5 jumbo eggs rolls," I said. "Okay, you tota 35 Dolla and 50 cen," the lady said. I pulled up to the next window and picked up my phone hanging up I paid for the food and waited for it to come out.

"They don't need to take all day," I said scratching my head. I looked at the window as the lady came back with my bags. "Can I get extra soy sauce and duck sauce?" I said grabbing the bags and setting them in the backseat.

She handed me a bag of the sauces and I pulled off. I pulled up to the red light and sat back. I always learned when you in the hood and you sitting at a red light make sure your seat leaned back so yo head away from the window. People love to pull up and shoot the middle part of the window.

I pulled up on Mar moma street and parked behind the line of cars. "If they having a cookout ima slap the hell outta mar," I said grabbing the bags out of the car. I walked towards his mom's porch and noticed a few faces but couldn't think of their name.

"Hey y'all," I said before walking inside. Me and Tamia walked in and looked around. Looked like they were having a whole ass family reunion in this house. "Hey, Tahlia," a couple of people said. I replied with a simple hey. "Where Mar at," I asked his lil sister.

"He in his room," she said nodding down the hallway before giving me a quick hug. I walked down the hallway and into his room it was people in here too playing the game I walked over to him and handed his food to him. "Why you ain't tell me it was a cookout," I said sitting beside him and Tamia sat beside me and started eating.

"Cause they just started cooking and won't be done until later. Before you ask Jaylee in Lala room sleep" he said asking my next question. I nodded and started eating. It was too many people here but it was way more people in the living room.

I looked around his room ignoring the scares I was receiving from one of the boys in the room. It started making me uncomfortable so I got up closing my plate and sat it in his mini-fridge beside Tamia's leg and leaned on him.

He was eating and scrolling on his phone and I just watched. The boy kept staring so I started fidgeting which is something I do when I'm uncomfortable. I guess Mar caught on cause he looked up and met eyes with the boy.

"Orion stop staring at her bruh," he said before going back to his food. I looked up and the Orion boy licked his lips before looking away. I shook my head and pulled out my phone.

"Her dad called you today," mar asked me I shook my head no and clicked the Snapchat app and started watching people stories. "Shout out. I got you tho" he said I just kept watching people's stories and tuned everybody out.
