The sales asked,
"Do you still want to buy that ring?"
"Of course!" Adeline then chose a ring which looked much simpler.
She would wear it for he whole life, so she didn't want it to be too fancy.
The sales took the ring out from the display case. However, before Adeline put it on, the ring unexpectedly slipped off from her finger.
Seeing this, Adeline's heart skipped a beat, as she felt something bad may happen.
The joy that filled her heart disappeared immediately. She then mumbled, "No, let's not buy it this time."
"Miss, we can still size the ring for you. Also, if you are in a hurry, we will contact the designer immediately, and we can get it done by noon tomorrow..."
"Then we'll come tomorrow noon!" Edmund directly payed the deposit and left with Adeline.
