Adeline quickly dodged and avoided Spring's slap, which made Spring fall to the ground. She immediately got up and wanted to hit Adeline again, while Vincent shouted:
"Isn't that embarrassing enough?"
Spring covered her face with her hand and cried. Seeing this, Victoria walked over and started comforted her.
"Alright, stop crying. Your father didn't mean to blame you. He’s just a bit angry," Victoria gently said.
Just them Edmund came back. After confirming Adeline was okay, he then said:" Uncle, my dad wants to see you."
Victoria then said in a low voice, "Herman is very angry now. Be careful."
Vincent nodded and headed to the study room.
"Did they bully you?" Edmund asked.
"Do you think I'm so easily bullied?" Adeline raised her chin.
