"lyla did you try what i told you yesterday
tell me how was it? "
Betty asked me about the horror movie incident. she actually have the nerve to ask about that. i don't get any sleep yesterday because that.
" you have the nerve to ask about that? you made me watch that scary movie yesterday. i end up following Lucas around like a little puppy."
i said pouting my lips pretending to be angry
"am sorry about that i don't know you got scared easily" she said hugging me
"fine considering you don't know I'll let it pass, I'll be the bigger person and won't hold it against you "
"you are the best" she throw her arms around me again hugging me tightly when we heard someone clearing her throat
"hmmm excuse me. are you lyla?" she asked facing me
"yeah what's up?"
"finally found you, have been looking all over the school i couldn't find you anywhere" she said taking the sit next to Betty.
"why are you looking for me?" i asked exchanging looks with betty, why would she be looking for me.
"well the principal told me to find you he said you'll help me settle in." she said fixing her hair and put a pink heart shape hair clip.
"oh okay " is the only thing i can say.
"you are so beautiful can you be my friend ?" she said switching side to sit beside me and hold my hand shaking it right and left.
"no way she is my best friend am not giving her to you ". Betty who has been silent since the new girl came finally speak.
"what do you mean by that? she can have many friends if she wants she doesn't belong to you alone " she fire back at her.
"no way she mine alone" she said pulling me closer to her
"she not " the new girl whom i have had the chance to ask for her name also pull me to her self.
Can someone safe me from this.
"i think you guys are mistaking something, she belongs to me not you" Lucas who just enter the the classroom said pulling me away from them.
"you guys are fighting over my girlfriend is the really appropriate?" she said checking my body to see if am hurt.
"brother what are you doing here " the new girl called him brother?
"Luna what are you doing here?" he also asked looking at her.
"my dad wants me to agree to an arranged marriage i refused and he sent me here." she said
"so brother what are you doing here?"
"i came here to catch a little bunny "
"what bunny? are you into rabbit business now?"
"mind your business" he said pulling me for a hug.
"i miss you so much" he said to me
"but we came to school together this morning "
"what do you mean it's been two hours twenty five minutes and forty second since i last saw you that witch took you away from me" he said pouting his lips and pointing at Betty.
"you called me a witch? how dear you?"
she said looking angry.
"Lyla do you love me?" she asked holding my hand.
"of course I love you so much " i said smiling at her.
"then break up with him okay that scumbag actually dear to call me a witch " she pouting her lips and looking at me like a little cute puppy. she looks so cute that i want to pinch her cheeks, i withdrawal my hand from Lucas to pinch her cheeks. but before i could do that Lucas pulling me closer and kiss me. the kiss started gently then it became rough he release me when i started to lack oxygen and rest his forehead on mine.
