Chapter 17: "The Token's Power"

Liè Rén, Qián Chén, and Xiǎo Lóng opened their wooden boxes, revealing a small, delicate token inside each. The token glimmered with a soft, golden light, radiating an aura of wisdom and knowledge.

Fǎ Xiān explained, "These tokens are imbued with the power of the 'Mystic Peak' sect. With them, you'll gain access to ancient texts, hidden techniques, and forbidden knowledge. Use them to enhance your cultivation and understanding of the world."

As they held their tokens, the trio felt a surge of energy and insight flood their minds. They began to comprehend the intricacies of cultivation, the balance of yin and yang, and the secrets of the universe.

Suddenly, the tokens glowed brighter, and the friends were enveloped in a vision. They saw the ancient founder of the 'Mystic Peak' sect, standing atop a mystical mountain, surrounded by clouds and mist. The founder spoke in a voice that echoed through the ages:

The vision faded, leaving the trio in awe. They realized that their journey as cultivators had just begun, and that the token's power would guide them on their path to greatness.

Fǎ Xiān called them back to his chambers, his expression serious. "My disciples, I have one final task for you. I want each of you to reach a minimum of Chi Gathering Stage 7 within six months. You must return to me by then, and I will assess your progress."

The disciples exchanged nervous glances. Reaching Chi Gathering Stage 7 was a daunting task, especially within such a short timeframe.

"You can decide whether to leave separately or travel together," Fǎ Xiān continued. "But remember, the journey ahead will be treacherous, and you will face many challenges. You must rely on your skills, teamwork, and determination to succeed."

Lie Ren nodded resolutely. "We won't disappoint you, Master. We'll work together and support each other to reach our goal."

Qián Chén and Xiǎo Lóng nodded in agreement, their faces set with determination.

Fǎ Xiān handed each of them a note, his eyes stern. "Remember, you must gather your own resources and cultivate separately. You cannot rely on each other's strength or share resources. You must each prove your individual worth."

The note read:

"To my disciples,

You must reach Chi Gathering Stage 7 within six months. You will not be allowed to return until you have achieved this goal. You must gather your own resources and cultivate separately. No sharing of resources or strength will be tolerated. You must prove your individual worth.

Fǎ Xiān"

The disciples nodded, understanding the gravity of the task ahead. They knew they had to work hard and rely on their own abilities to succeed.
