Chapter Twenty Seven

1609 Words

27. Hello stranger. We finally arrived at our hotel based in the middle of Melbourne city. Traffic was crazy, it took us nearly two hours to get here. The car ride over was sort of quiet. My mother cursed a lot through out the drive. Especially when someone cut her off or over took her but it was sort of quiet. She almost drove on the wrong side twice and she used her horn more times here than she ever did back home.  It was fun but it was also crazy. I honestly thought I was going to die today. I never prayed for my life before but I did. When we got out the car. She realised she wasn't parked in between the lines. As she shook it off. A lady screamed at her to park properly before cursing at her and pointing the finger.  My mother wasn't having a good day but she sure hated Melbourne.
