THROUGH THE SCHEMES OF FATE

STRANGE WORLD

Another weak had elapsed and Jane hadn't died, but lived to be tortured endlessly and worst of all, Sara and Dan made out in her room. She had to watch and hear the disgusting moaning sounds and a man's groan of pleasure. It was pleasure for them, but it was a great torture for her as it reminded her of the night she was raped by Dan. She wished to live, yet she couldn't bare to live anymore because of the pains that her been caused on her.

Her body was all sweaty, and her lovely jet black hair was plastered on her face due to sweat. Her throat was dry and her body was burning inside.

"Oh Jane, why are you so stubborn, it's really getting boring to play with you, ain't you tired as well?"

"Then why not just kill me."

"Hum, you wish, right."

'Yes, just finish with me.', Jane wanted to say, but she didn't want to give Sara that pleasure, even if she was helpless.

"Things would be much easier if you cooperated with us."

"What guarantee do I have that you won't kill me after you got what you wanted."

"You don't have much choice."

"I see, but I would like to know, when you feigned your kidney failure. I checked you but I didn't realize it, how did you hide it."

"Of course I wouldn't have done that by myself, I used a special drug to mask my health and used a hallucinogen on you. I have to admit coorperating with DY helps a lot. Though it was so hard to trick you, but even a genuis has its flaws right."

'A genuis?', Jane didn't believe she was one any longer, neither had she been one before. Because if she had been so wise and meticulous, then so many things wouldn't have escaped her over the years.

"Heh, I lost, I really lost to you.", Jane smiled bitterly.

"Are you finally admitting defeat?"

"You won... I'll tell you what you need, but in this state, I'm afraid I can't help you much."

"Are you sure, you're not thinking of doing something, are you?"

"I'm already in this state, what else can I do!"

Effectively, what else could she do, her body had already been detroyed by drugs, even if she thought of doing something, she wouldn't have the strength.

"Then I'll trust you this one time little sis. Look at what I have, it's a little serum that would help you regain some strength. Not your complete strength, but at least enough to let you guide us."

Jane said nothing but watched Sara walk closer to her and as soon as she was closer to her, Jane took the opportunity, grabbed Sara and pierced her neck with a syringue, though empty could cause her death to an extent if she pierced the right place with her knowledge.

"Go to hell!", Jane held on tight trying to stab Sara as much as she could, but she didn't expect that Sara had a scalpel in her pocket. Her heart was pierced not one, not twice but three times by Sara.

"Danm psychopath, how dare you hurt me, go to hell!"

Sara yelled and pierced through Jane's heart even more. It hurt, it hurt so much, but Jane couldn't help but smile at the pain.

"You finally did it, but I hope that you would remember my face, because I would ...hunt you....down...."

Jane's vision became blurier and blurier until she could see nothing more but darkness, endless darkness.

She couldn't believe it, her life ended in such a miserable way, because she was blind when she choosed a friend and blind to have love a man like Dan. If only she knew, then she wouldn't have made that mistake.

'Mother, father, I'm sorry!'

~Thud

Jane fell down on a pool of blood and her vision became blurry, but she could watch the contempted eyes of Sara and Dan who joined later. But what she saw at that last moment was what she would regret even in her grave.

"You...will....pay.", she murmured those last words and her life probably ended from that moment. But she only saw the victorious smile of Dan and Sara who had no.remorse or guilt while watching her body become colder as it stained more in her red pool of blood.

If she had known, or if only she was given a second chance, she would surely make them pay, even as a ghost.

In a huge mansion in country Y, basically found at the other end of the earth, while Jane had just woken up, she had no idea of what had just happened, she was obviously stabbed in her heart by Sara, yet she was still alive.

As if pulled out from the gates of Hades, Jane abruptly woke up and exhaled in a go. She was immediately embraced by the strong pain on her head, but shouldn't she feel pain from a several stabs. She couldn't tell why apart from the pain on her head, there was no injury, not even a single scratch.

Her skin was soft and delicate though with few fading wounds, but it shouldn't have been the case.The bed she lay on was a beautiful queen size bed, meant for royal families and the room wasn't little as well, but it was all strange to her. It wasn't a hospital, neither did it look like a five star hotel.



"What's happening?", Jane demanded and struggled out of the bed towards the mirror in front of her. The face she saw was obviously hers, but the long hair messy that cascaded down to her waist was strange. Her hair hair had always been short as adviced by Sara, but now it was so long as if it hadn't been trimmed for years.

But that wasn't her preoccupation at yhe current time. She needed to know where she was and which body has welcomed a suffering soul like hers.

~ Thud

The sound of a fallen object drew her attention and turned Jane towards the door where an unfamiliar girl with chestnut hair tied into a bun and lovely hazel eyes. This face was familiar, bit she gasped as if she had just seem a ghost.

Though she indeed considered herself as a ghost from that moment, at least she knew it wasn't visible. 'Had she been in a coma for long and they world changed along?'

Jane was still puzzled.

"Oh my God, Miss. Louisa, you're actually awake! " , she gasped out the words, but Jane couldn't help but ponder.

'Miss. Louisa?'
