Emaya wasn’t having a good day. But still she plastered a cheerful smile on her face and worked tirelessly until evening. She finished her shift and proceeded to leave before The Cafe’s owner called her over, “Emaya!” “Yes Ma’am, is there anything else?” she turned to face her, asking politely. “You don’t have to come to work from now on,” she said, fixing her sleeves. Emaya paused and couldn’t speak, some moments after she suddenly blurted, “Why?” “Did I make any mistake or upset you? I won’t give you another chance to complain.
