I could sense people watching me throughout the entire lesson. I knew I would feel self-conscious and anxious, but around Flynn, I didnt. We moved out of the gym and onto the oval for today's lesson. I was thankful for the extra space between groups today.
"You are an absolute gun!" Jake complimented as I completed the defense drill. I noticed Flynn stiffen as Jake hung his arm around me. I couldn't help the little celebratory dance I did inside. I walked to the beginning of the drill set up with Jake's arm still draped over my shoulder.
"Your turn Jake..." Flynn almost growled while running past us. Jake looked confused but did as he was told. He began the drill and I stopped to watch. Monica was acting as the defender in the drill.
"You and me up next?" Flynn raised his eye
