It was right on two o'clock when the door bell rang. I ran to answer it before anyone else could. I didn't want the endless questions about who it was and where I was going. I had already told Mum that I was going out with a friend. That is all that she needs to know at this point. I opened the door and Matt was standing there with a bunch of red roses in his hand. He was wearing blue jeans, a tan-colored t-shirt and his blonde hair was artfully messy.
"Hi." I muttered nervously as he handed me the roses.
