Elara took a spoonful of her meal,her metal spoon clinking against the ceramic material of the plate as she laughed at something Serene had said. The loud buzz from the restaurant drowned out the sound of her voice. This wasn't a place she'd usually go to on her own because of how it was in the heart of town but Serene had invited her and she couldn't decline.
It still felt surreal how close she had gotten with Serene. After their first encounter she hadn't expected to bump into her again but they did and they have gotten so close since that day.
A huge smile settled on Elara's face as she finally stopped laughing. “I can't believe you actually did that. You're so brave and I really envy you honestly. Where have you been all my life?”
