Elara immediately broke the kiss at the sound of the intruder,her palms pushing against Dante's chest. Instead of moving away from her, Dante remained still,his mouth still hovering near hers. He shut his eyes in frustration as he muttered curses under his breath. After an excruciating amount of time had passed he reluctantly pulled away from her as though he was being dragged by the collar of his shirt.
Elara stared at everything in the room but at the Blackwood brother that had entered the room. She could still taste Dante on her lips but her heart was pounding erratically with panic.
