Chapter 7

"You need to go on a diet" I was beyond shocked when Yun-oppa literally told me that right in my face "Even though you have all the curves and a healthy balanced weight, you're still on the chubby side. So you need to lose more weight. Go fasting to make it faster" I almost cried. How could a man have the guts to tell that to a woman? But then again I remembered its Liu Yun, the owner of one of the most successful designer brands in Paris. For years of working with professional fashion models, I know he already has a keen eye in selecting high-quality material to endorse his own product. So I don't blame him if I didn't pass his standards. After all, I'm not dealing with normal people anymore. I'm dealing with people who have high social status. So goodbye to your old life, Jess. And goodbye to chocolate and delicious feast... (T^T) . Liu Yun's Point of View... . "You need to buy this, this, this, and this---" "That's a lot!" Jess's eyes were like saucers when we went out to go shopping for facial and skincare products. Even though she has the brain, talent, and skills... Her appearance needs a LOT to work on. She knows how to finesse people naturally as if it's already in her blood so I give her credit for that, but she has to have at least have milky white skin since her she has a light skin tone. She also needs to have clear pimple-free face. Her acne marks can be hidden with good makeup and I saw she's quite good at it but her hair and nails need a total makeover. She needs to have a slim and hourglass body figure as well to make sure Min-hyung will jaw literally drop the moment they meet again. Also, she needs to learn and embrace wearing designer brand items. She's not the normal Teacher Jessica anymore. But rather, she's Jessica Marquis Theodore now. A teacher, a writer, a healthcare provider, a researcher, a successful female entrepreneur, and an overnight multitalented celebrity. Sometimes, I don't know what's going on in Xi Min's brain anymore on why he did that to common laborer like her. But now that I think about it, I think I understand. She's very hardworking and she learns really fast than any other employee I had. She's open-minded and she's willing to comply with whatever demand we give her. "You need to get used to this life" I said warmly yet sternly, knowing she's still recovering from the painful traumatic heartbreaking experience Min-hyung gave her out of the blue "You HAVE to get him" "But I don't wanna---" "Do you get me, Jess? You HAVE to get him" I looked straight right into her eyes as if going digging right into her soul "You have to get him and then break his heart" I saw her eyes went big for the umpteenth time that night before we checked out the items I bought her. I know she seems uncomfortable because it's all too expensive and a lot of her haters and bashers are watching us. But who cares, she's with me. They can't bring her down as long as we're here protecting her. "Hey, Dae" I said after calling a certain troll over the phone "Have you done the job?" "Yep! I sent out the pictures of her in her teaching career as well as news of her taking up short courses and got certificates in both US and UK" "What about her educational background?" "She graduated top one in her class during high school and then she and her siblings graduated in one of the top schools in their country. She also took up continuing education abroad. And oh! She also took up art and dance classes and won several medals while being a member of the National Ice Skating Team together with her sisters. She's multi-lingual and also proficient in Martial arts and Taekwondo. Pretty cool, right?" "Fair enough," I said and hang up the call. Ice skating, huh? That's a very expensive hobby. I wondered and looked at the pictures over and over again. It's obviously taken using an old digital camera and it's clearly not edited. She has proof of her old certificates and her medals are still alive as well. I could tell she really was an in ice skater when I took her out for ice skating before. It's been years since she last skate on ice and I know she still got it. She can still do an arabesque, a needle stand, a 1 o'clock, a waltz jump, a spin, and some other pre-alpha to basic delta level tricks. It's a little shaky and unstable but with more practice, she can go back to ice skating once again. So I'm confident that she can defend that Little Ice Princess title. . End of Liu Yun's Point of View... . "Which one should I put on first? This is a lot for just a morning and for a night facial and skin care routine" I said, looking like an innocent child inside my shopping bags "And are you sure I have to put these much just for two times a day?" We're current at my apartment. Yun-oppa decided to come over to teach me how to properly care for my skin. I'm really thankful of him giving me his time just to teach me about these stuffs despite his busy schedule. I feel inspired, finally uncovering the truth for the first time on why celebrities have such fair skin. They take up this much time and dedication just to look the best they can be infront of thousands of audiences both local and international. They definitely have my respect now. "What do you look for in a man" Yun-oppa said. I was startled and looked straight in his eyes, wondering if I heard him correctly. However, he looked too calm and emotionless for my liking to ever interpret what he's thinking. He had his head propped on his one palm while staring monotoned at me. I was about to ask him about what he said when I noticed the light slowly getting dimmer and the atmosphere suddenly feel heavy, effectively shutting my mouth. There's a dangerous glint in Yun-oppa's eyes when he moved and started getting closer and leaned down on me. I felt my heart beats faster and faster, words caught in my throat. I didn't realize I was holding my breath until Yun-oppa smiled and the light came back on its full brightness. "No wonder they keep saying you're cute" he snickers back in his goofy side with a decent distance between us. He ruffled my hair and complimented me for blushing as red as a tomato. I've never felt this embarrassed nor had any man did that to me before. I wanna kill him and strangle him to death like what I plan on doing to Hun-oppa but I decided not to. He's such a gentleman and I feel like I'm starting to like him. "Don't lose focus, okay" he said before leaving. I nod, reminding myself that I have to work harder. In my current situation right now, I'm too far out if his league and I know myself that I can only admire him from afar. Because once again, Yun-oppa's only here to help me fight against Min-oppa. Nothing more, nothing else...
