Nina put her wedding ring back on under Fred's pressure. After slipping hers on, she glanced at Fred's left hand.
"Do you take it off when you're with Natalie?" Nina asked, her curiosity suddenly piqued.
"No."
"That's a bit disrespectful, don't you think?"
"This is none of your concern," Fred replied, turning to leave.
"Will I still be locked up?" Nina asked, staring at his back. "You've already had my father lecture me for ten days. Is it still necessary to restrict my freedom?"
"Yes."
Fred turned around, his sharp gaze piercing through her, landing on her neck. "And it's not just about keeping you from going out. The Rosenthal family has never had news of a woman committing suicide. I think you need someone to watch over you at all times."
"That won't be necessary." Nina chuckled
