Theron kept us updated on the kidnappers' movements. They'd shifted her into a work truck and split between the truck and an SUV. While it was probably easier than running with an unconscious woman, the move actually slowed them down enough that we had the advantage.
I don't know why they were headed into Maple Glen, but I knew it benefited us in the end. Willow had friends there. Doc Blake knew about us. We could take refuge with him while Willow healed if we needed to.
My warriors followed in several of our SUVs, but Onyx refused to wait. Archer and Caine were with me as we ran in wolf form through the woods on an intercept path. Evander was with the men. We'd have plenty of support, but if the rage building in my bones was any indication, we wouldn't need it.
