"You don't look surprised," I said to Caine and Archer.
Caine shrugged. "You've been acting off about Willow since we got into town. Initially, I figured it was because she had power. But the way you've been the past couple of days? A mate connection is the only thing that makes sense."
"Onyx took control and ran back to Maple Glen because Willow was in danger. There's no other reason for him to do that," Archer said.
