It feels like this damned lecture was going on forever, and I'm not mentally prepared to be in school today.
Anna snatched my phone out of my hand without warning as I was about to return it to my bag.
She stared in awe at the exterior design before turning to me and whispered, "You got a new phone?” She asked in an excited tone.
Acting like the fight and the distance between us never happened.
Anna had finally fixed her damned car; she isn't going to carpool with Asher and me again, or was I the one carpooling with them?
I grabbed my phone out of Anna's hand and gave a subtle nod. I felt reluctant to tell her that Xavier bought this for me, and it isn't the only gift he has given to me over the years.
