Epilogue
Cori sat on the broad steps of Cassie and Theo’s porch, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face. The trees were sprouting with spring blooms, and their sweet scent hung in the air. She drew in a deep breath then glanced at her lap.
The tiny face staring up at her warmed her heart. She stared at the baby, unable to wrap her mind around the fact that she was an aunt. Her niece was living proof, and little Thea McCabe was the most beautiful baby she’d ever seen.
