Ch 5

It’s been about six months since I proposed to the love of my life. Every day since has been like a dream. We moved in together and she’s got to decorate immediately. Our parents are helping us with the expense of the whole thing. We decided to have the wedding the weekend after our college graduation. It’s only four months away. The planning is almost complete, my parents told us. I’m actually getting married to the most stunning girl I’ve ever seen. It’s unbelievable. Everything is going great, finals are coming up and I’m going to ace all of them. Dad said after college I’m going to take over his businesses. I’m overjoyed that he’ll let me run them, but for now I’m going to focus on school first. I can’t believe I'm already a senior. It feels like only yesterday I was a freshman drinking liquor at 3 in the morning at a random frat house. I was quite the party animal back then. Speaking of parties, that’s how I met my soon-to-be wife. I was invited to one of the biggest and loudest parties of all time. The dude that invited me was a classmate of mine and his house was crazy big. The party was wild and I enjoyed every moment. I had the worst hangover in the history of hangovers the next morning. The only thing that cures my hangovers is Matt's smoothies. I ordered the smoothie and drank it, looking at the name on the cup. “Nice” says someone beside me. I looked around in confusion. Then I saw the woman of my dreams. My jaw drops. She has the most beautiful eyes and long brown hair. I can’t stop looking at her. “I think that’s mine” she says, pointing to the drink in my hand. It takes me a second to focus. “Oh, mine now” I say, still shocked at how gorgeous she is. “Well you’re going to have to buy me another one”, she says, smiling. Her eyes shine when she smiles. Her whole face lit up with that smile. “Gladly” I replied with my jaw dropped. “But first I gotta know your name, then I’ll buy you that drink”, I said teasingly. “It’s Nella,” she said laughing. “Nice to meet you Nella” I say smiling like an i***t. Her laugh is so cute. Nella, Nel-la, Nellaaa. My new favorite word. I got what she got, it’s actually pretty good. I’ve always stuck to my own regular order but this is good. We get a table outside and sit. She is so beautiful. She talks about how she just started college at Weston North University. My face lit up. Holy she goes to my school. Wow, she goes to my school. “We should hang out” I say to her and she agrees with a smile. I like you, Nella, your eyes, your voice, your cute laugh. I want to keep liking you. I hope you know I really like you, Nella. It’s like she reads my mind because as soon as I said I like her in my head, she had one of the best smiles I’ve gotten from her in the last few minutes. We left for our separate classes and she was on my mind every second of the day. Since then, we have got closer, hung out more and more. I asked her out for the second semester and she said yes. I love her with all my heart. It didn't take long for me to love her. She's just so unique, so mysterious. I love every minute we spend together, everything we do together. Every joke she told me, every compliment she gave me. She's just so beautiful. I love you Nella.
