Traveling home

My breathing was uneven as I tried to come up with a plan of ways to break away from him, but my wolf and my intuition told me that was not going to happen. He was going to catch or stop me the moment I make any sort of attack on him. SHIT. So, taking a deep breath to calm myself, I relaxed my hold on the knife and let it fall to the floor. "See, I released it, you can take it. I am not going to attack you, I swear." I felt him stare at me for a moment as he tried to decide if I was telling the truth, but I guess in the end he believed me. Before releasing my wrists, he kicked the gun across the room. "Let's say I believe you, but if you try to attack me again I will tie you up and throw you in the trunk of the car. I have your father's permission to bring you home using any means necessary." Yeah... that does also sound like my father. "Fine, no attacking you physically." I answered him while taking a step away from him, needing to have space between us. I was shaking my wrist that still felt a little tingly and too warm from his palm. My body's reaction to his was not something I had ever experienced, but I decided to ignore it and him as a matter of fact. He was nothing more than just one of father's lackeys or some wanna-be alpha. "Good, let's go then." "I still need to pack." "Your father said that the omegas are on their way and they will pack everything." I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm my annoyance with this man. "Fine, just let me grab my phone and some other essentials." "You have five minutes or I will drag your ass to the car." Without acknowledging him or his threats, I walked out of the room. At first, I walked slowly, not wanting to show that I took him seriously or that I feared his threats, but I knew better than to underestimate the fact that he most definitely would do it without even thinking about it. Quickly, I grabbed my backpack and stuffed my phone, charger, laptop and a few pieces of clothing to get me through a few days. I know that father said that he would send someone to pick up my stuff, but god knows when that will happen. So I need to get by for a few days, at least if not to wait for my stuff to arrive, but at least to buy some new stuff. As I was doing it, I was aware of how long I was taking. I planned to walk out of the room as my time ran out. It would not give him the pleasure of dragging me into the car, but it wouldn't show that I was concerned about his threats. After gathering my stuff, I was stepping out the door when I ran straight into his chest. "You are late." "So? I'm done. We can go now." I met his gaze head on and it shocked him for a moment. My best guess is he really has people meeting his gaze, well expect for other alphas. Sorry dude, I had spent my whole life around them and I don't really care. "So? What are we waiting for? Where is your car?" His eyes narrowed and he blinked a few times. "Not a car, a bike." "So you were planning to throw me into one of the side pockets if I was too late? Or was it all just a lie?" "No, I would have tied you up and thrown you over the back of the bike. It is not the most comfortable way to ride, but it would have served you as a lesson." I couldn't help myself. I blurted out laughing as I stared at him with disgust in my eyes. "Served me a lesson? Did you really just say that? Who do you think you are to teach me anything?" I guess my words pushed a button or two because his face changed instantly. Quickly, he stepped in my direction, trapping me between the door and his body. "Until I deliver you to your father, I am in charge of you, with every right to discipline you how I want." His voice was so low and sounded more like a growl from somewhere deep in his chest because it vibrated with every word. SHIT. I took a deep breath and stared at him as his dark eyes got even darker. The next words were no longer as angry, but more like a whisper. "And you need a lesson in respect..." He leaned in a bit closer, whispering the last words right into my ear. Sending wave after wave of shivers down my back. "But I won't be the one teaching you." As quickly as he stepped in my direction, he stepped back. Leaving me to stand there, shocked, shaken and maybe a bit turned on by his sudden actions and roughness. "Now let's get going, there is quite a long journey ahead." Without waiting for my answer, he turned on his heel and walked down the stairs, leaving me to stare at his back as he walked away. "Walk or do I need to drag your ass, princess?" His rough words shook me awake and I started walking down the stairs after him. I am not sure who he was. The name sounded familiar, but as I never paid much attention to politics, I could put my finger on who he was. But one thing I was sure of and it was that he was a freaking asshole, that I can't stand. Hopefully, after he takes me home, we will not see each other again... ever. Quickly, I made my way down the stairs saying goodbye to a place that was more home than my parents' house has ever been to me... there were so many memories here... memories of me and Darcy...
