Max's story

“Thank you, Josh,” I say with a smile
“You’re welcome Mrs. Amelia,” He says
I walk back into the house and hug Adrian and Skyler
“I’m sorry about this you guys,” I say as I pull away from the hug
“It’s fine. You don’t have to apologize, Amelia," Skyler said putting her hand on my shoulder
“I know, but I do feel bad, how about we go and watch a movie?” I say as I smile
“I have to go, so my parents don’t get worried,” Skyler says as she runs off
“I’m down to stay and watch a movie,” Adrian says smiling
Me and Adrian go and watch a documentary about our history and we learned a lot about how we became wolves and how people had hunted us and killed most of our kind off. It was an amazing documentary
“That was so cool, I never knew my history,” Adrian said
“I didn’t either,” I said
Me and Adrian walked to the living room and he told them goodbye and I walked him to the door
“I better get going so I can get ready for school tomorrow. I’m so happy it’s going to be Friday.” Adrian said hugging me goodbye
“Bye Adrian,” I say hugging him back
I went to my room and did some homework until around 8:30 p.m. and took a shower and put on my pajamas and went to bed
I woke up and went to school
“HEY!” I heard someone yell from behind me when I walked into the school
I turned around and saw Max coming at me, I backed up and got cornered in a room. I pulled out my phone to send an SOS text to Adrian and as I sent it Max snatched my phone
“What are you doing? I should’ve killed you yesterday,” Max said as he smashed my phone
“HEY! THAT WAS MY PHONE!” I yelled as Adrian walked into the room
“What’s going on in here?” He said as he got in between me and Max
“I’m just talking to her,” Max said
“By smashing her phone?” Adrian growled
“It’s fine Adrian. Max leave now, or you’re out of the pack,” I growled from behind Adrian.
"Meet me later," Max said as he left
"Hey. Are you ok?" Adrian says as he turns to me
"Yea, I'm fine. I'm going to meet him later to see what he wants," I said as I started walking to my class
I finished all of my classes and got a lot of homework. After school, I met up with Max while Adrian stands to watch outside of sight.
"Max. What do you want," I say walking up to him
"I-I wanted to say..." He pauses for a minute "I wanted to say I'm sorry. Please don't kick me out of the pack, it's the only friends and family I have, please, " He says as he drops to his knees
"Hey, it's ok. I'm not going to kick you out, just be nicer and you can stay, but bullying your alpha is a no-go in my pack. Ok?" I say as I put my hand on his shoulder
"T-thank you Amelia. that means a lot to me," he says as he looks up at me
"You're welcome Max, why don’t you come home with me and I’ll let you be my omega that way you stay in the pack, on one condition,” I say looking at him
“I-I’ll do anything to stay. My mom and dad died in the fight, my sisters left the pack, and my brothers left as well, I don’t have anyone but the pack left,” He said
“You can’t tell anyone that I’m the alpha until it comes out. Adrian and Skyler have kept this and helped me, I expect you to help me and keep it a secret as well,” I say
“I will do anything to stay in the pack, thank you, Amelia,” He says
“Come on let's go to my house and I’ll introduce you to my family,” I say walking back towards Adrian
“What’s Adrian doing here,” Max asks
“He was here to give me protection, in case you tried anything,” I say
“Oh, I wasn’t I just wanted to talk in private because that story is very personal to me,” Max says as Adrian starts walking with us
"I didn’t hear anything dude, I promise,” Adrian says putting his hand on Max’s shoulder
We all get in Adrian's truck and ride to my house
“MOM! DAD! I'M HOME,” I yelled to my parents as I walked in the door with Max, Adrian had to go home
“Hey honey,” My mom says coming around the corner and seeing Max, “What is he doing here?” She growls
“He has promised to be good to me in exchange for him being my omega,” I say as I put my hand on his shoulder
“H-Hi Mrs. Williams, I’m so sorry for the other day,” He says and bows in front of my mom
“It’s ok Max,” She says, “I have dinner cooking, why don’t you stay for some dinner,” She adds walking to the kitchen
“I-I would love that,” He says to my mom. “I haven’t eaten in weeks,” He whispers to me
“Hey mom, I have a question,” I asked walking into the kitchen after her
“What is it, honey?” She asks as she’s stirring the food in the pot
“Can Max stay with us? He hasn’t eaten in weeks, and he doesn’t have any family left to help him, he’s all alone,” I ask as Max walks into the kitchen
“No I couldn’t ask that of you guys,” He says as he hears
“It’s fine honey, and Max you can stay,” My mom says
“Thank you, Mrs. Williams,” He says and bows again
“You don’t have to bow to me, Max. And you can call me mom since you’ll be staying here,” My mom says as she smiles
