8 HENG’S EXPERIMENTS
Heng was finding getting to work quite a strain. His body wanted to be up al night and in bed al day, but goats being daytime animals, liked it
the other way around. However, it was not really a problem because Den was managing the flock well and Heng did go out with him two or three times a week to show him paths and pastures that he didn’t yet know.
Nevertheless, he wanted to continue contributing to the family coffers and the only nocturnal job that he could think of was fishing, so he did that on the days when he didn’t go out with Den. The job actual y suited him very well, because he could set up many lines, fly away for four or five hours and then return before dawn to retrieve his catch and reset the lines.
