“I vote yes,” said Den.
“I think it’s a good idea too,” said Wan, “but then I always did.”
“I like it too,” chipped in Din, “if anyone is interested in my opinion.”
“Oh, my dear girl,” said Heng, “you wil be pivotal, because most of our paying guests wil be foreigners and you are the only one who can speak English at the moment.”
Heng looked pointedly at Den, who seemed daunted at the prospect.
“Good, I’m glad you al like the idea because it is a good one and there isn’t another guest house for twenty miles. Come on Den, let’s start measuring up, it won’t build itself, you can take the goats out later. Din, can you occupy the girls? Take them down to the vegetable plot and let them watch you work or something. They may even want to help.”
