After learning the lesson from the previous two incidents, Vann did not stroll around in the Empyrean Glory Group for the whole afternoon.
As they were about to get off work, Vann approached Aurora and said, "I won't be going back with you after work today."
"Why is that? Do you have something to do?" Aurora asked.
"Well, I've promised Selina that I'll do her a favour tonight," Vann said.
"What kind of favour is that?" Aurora asked curiously.
However, she regretted it as soon as she asked the question. She felt that it had been somewhat inappropriate.
"It's nothing. She just wanted me to be her boyfriend."
"I see!"
Just as Aurora was about to nod, she suddenly realized that something was off.
