Before I resigned I submitted a bill that passed by voice vote that spousal and child physical and s****l abuse was a federal felony punishable by no less than twenty years in a maximum security prison. We also put a budget in place for counselors for both the men, to control their anger before abuse occurs and women and children coming out of an abusive environment.”
