Wednesday, 10:00 tines Sam walked up to the Brig and looked at his soon to be former son-on-law lying on a thin mattress with a blanket and a small pillow. Sam stood in front of the cell. Bradley awoke with a start. “Sam, thank God you’re here to get me out of this mess. There’s been a misunderstanding…we had an intruder.” Sam didn’t listen. “From what I hear, Bradley, you were a lucky man last night. If my daughter’s rescuers had been on their own planet, you’d be dead right now.” Sam stood with his hands in the pockets of his jeans. “Sam, you know how it is, I had a few too many…” Bradley came up to the force field which held him in the brig.
