Chapter 6

770 Words
The majesty of the moonlight reflected on the water's surface, gentle waves rippled along as running water from the rocks above cascaded down. Leaning against the rocks, his clothes were thrown aside I saw him. When I could just stare at him like this, my breath would always escape my lungs. I fell to my knees in defeat when my spine was hit with a sharp chill that encircled my spine, my ribcage became tighter and my bones ached tremendously. My core clenched in pulsing and repetitive agony, my body squirming under the invisible force that drove me into such unbearable pain and bliss. I swallowed the lump that was lodged in my throat, but the faintest whimper could catch the attention of the Alpha, just a few feet away.  My shaking voice muttered his name whilst my eyes glazed over, my vision would blur and become red before returning to normal. His head swiftly turned to peer over the muscle of his shoulder, eyeing me suspiciously. Beautiful hues of ruby burrowed their way into the window of my soul and seeped into my body, seeing all that was happening inside of me. The connection between us was powerful but it wouldn't last. Deep within those alluring eyes sparked like burning coal - erect with dominance and ferocity. My eyesight faltered and I was in pitch black for a moment. The bond... "I didn't think I would find you in these parts, darling," Genesis sneered. His attitude gave my back a harsh lashing that spread across my chest like wildfire. "Me either," I answer. His eyes continued to linger on me, watching as I stood from my sudden fall. "I...thought I would find somewhere to bathe." Genesis bellowed a huff, "And you somehow managed to find me." I stiffened. My body temperature rose higher and I turned my head away, my mind swarming with unspeakable acts, involving Genesis. He just stirred that animalistic side of me, far better than others did. "Are you going to stand there, or are you going to bathe?" My eyes widened at Genesis' sudden and bold statement. He really knew how to make someone angry and flustered at the same time. "Excuse me!?" "Don't pretend you didn't understand me," he turned his head to look up, his neck extending to pierce mine. "Well?" At this point, I began to mumble under my breath and stutter excessively but Genesis only reacted with a deep chuckle from within his chest. This chuckle wasn't a kind one, however, it was a sound of amusement. Mockery. "You don't have the courage to bathe with me, stand by me. Let alone, stare at me." I frowned at him, ashamed of myself and embarrassed. But I was angry too. Angry that he belittled my courage - attacked it. To show Genesis he wouldn't scare me that easily, I stripped as he continued his tangent and I swiftly dove into the moonlit pool. I rose above the surface, straining the water from my wet hair and I forced my eyes to look over at Genesis, who had indeed halted his bellowing laughs. His body shifted against the rocks, I could see the skin grow tight around his muscles. His rich, blooded orbs narrowed defensively as I slowly turned. My hair fell over the curves of my chest, concealing them and this obviously stirred something inside of Genesis. I saw one fall only to be replaced by another as I stepped closer towards him. He flinched away by an inch when I only rose my hand from my side and through my hair. "I'm sorry, you were saying?" I ask, my lips curling up into a smirk. Before I knew it, what confidence I held in my possession, Genesis stripped it quicker than a child taking sweets from a stranger. The Alpha moved forward, causing him to rise higher above the water. My eyes trailed down the length of his front, analysing him and I covered my eyes. The last thing I needed was to be exposed to the land under his waist. Compared to him, I was a mouse and he was a Great Dane closing in on his prey. He maneuvered through the water and I stumbled back until my back brushed the surrounding stone wall. My body quivered as my breath ceased to move in rhyme, the two of us were hidden in shadow because of the rocks above that blocked out the moonlight. Genesis caged me in his arms, earning a small and cowardly whine from myself. In the darkness, his eyes were hypnotic with a s****l craving, and for bloodshed. But I didn't know which craving he wanted to sate, here and now.  To be continued in part II...
