At noon Sofia woke up after spending the night on the huge comfortable bed provided by Rook Hayes.
When she opened her eyes, the maid was opening the curtains.
The maid asked in a respectful manner, "Miss Ellis, would you like me to bring up lunch for you?”
Sofia sat up on the bed looking at the maid.
“My name is Wendy, Mr. Hayes hired me to take care of you…” she hands Sofia paperwork. “Mr. Hayes has already left for the day he asked me to pass this along for you.” She explains.
Sofia took the document and read it. It was a marriage certificate. All that was needed from her was her signature. She assumed they would need to wait until her divorce was finalized before they could file it.
