The next morning, I woke up and he wasn’t in bed. I get up and check on the baby, but James was with her as he was feeding her and playing with her. I stand by the door and watched them both, it felt good to see them get along.
“Morning” he said as I realised, he was topless.
“Morning, you didn’t have to” I said as I go over to them.
“No, you do this every day you need to rest” He said.
“Thanks” I said as my mom walks in.
“Hey aunt I forgot to congratulate you on the new baby, she’s adorable” he said as my mother looks at me confused, then she got the point.
“Oh yeah my baby, thank you, James, breakfast is ready” she said as she left.
“That’s odd” he said as I look at him.
“Nothing is odd, any who weren’t you supposed to be with your soon to be wife” I asked
