Three hours later, Hunter's car arrived.
James called Lena, but Lena pretended not to answer because Lillian would go pick up the call anyway.
Lillian did go as well, and as soon as she saw Hunter, she excitedly shouted, "Hunter!"
She ran towards him, and in one swift motion, she embraced his arm.
"I specifically applied with my grandfather, and this time I came here with you to gain some experience. You must not despise me."
Hunter glanced into the distance and didn't see Lena.
James quickly picked up his phone and called Lena again.
"Ms. Dawson, the president has arrived, have you come?"
Lena pretended to yawn, "Sorry, I overslept. You guys should be settled in by now, so I won't come. We'll talk about it tomorrow morning when we go to the site together."
