Joanna saw her anxious and quickly asked, "What's wrong?"
"My boyfriend got injured, and now he's not answering the phone. I'm a little worried."
"Weren't you already broken up? Why are you still worrying about him?"
Lena looked at the photo on her phone and pursed her lips. "I don't know, maybe I still kind of liked him, but I didn't know how to get along with him. He was sensitive and had a strange temper."
He never seemed to believe that she liked him, which was a kind of almost paranoid thought.
Lena put down her phone, took another sip of juice, and heard Joanna ask.
"Lena, did you like Mr. Reid?"
