Svetlana spent the next few months tracking dark witches whose powers mirrored her own, or at least showed promising potential. This search led her to Israel, where she met a shaman named Judas. However, she quickly realized he mostly used dark magic for mere entertainment, entertaining himself by placing curses and hexes on unsuspecting people. He even tried targeting Svetlana during her travels. When he realized his magic had absolutely no effect on her, he was alarmed; he had never met a witch who remained entirely immune to his craft while refusing to side with either light or dark magic.
