‘Checked ’er out, ey. Haw. Haw.’ It was the one who’d flicked his cigarette at her. He nudged the man next to him, lewd greediness on his face. Eden looked to Adam, but he didn’t refute anything. He just stared at Clint. Clint turned his gaze to her. His beady eyes roamed over her. Her face heated, but she kept her eyes trained on him, inherently knowing to stand strong. That if she showed any weakness, the man would pounce like a starving grizzly bear. Clint spoke to Adam, but looked at her, chewing out his words. ‘Got to make sure everyone’s above board, y’know?’ Clint strode to her like he owned the ground beneath her feet. His hand darted out and he ripped the camera from her hands. She tried to get it back, but he stepped away. ‘Just lookin’ at your photos. I like a good photograph
