Chapter #2

I woke up beside a desert of burnt grass. Something moaned behind me. THE MAILMAN! I thought all of a sudden. What had happened? Another thing groaned from the other side of me. I turned my head and I saw Gianna lying beside me. I got up and shook Gianna awake from her plunge into darkness. Gianna's jade green eyes sparkled with uncertainty as she stared at the `mystery man.' He opened his eyes and stood up and I suddenly realized that he was my age. He stared at us for a few seconds before trying a nervous wave. He smiled warmly. My sister tackled him to the ground.

"WHY DID YOU BRING US HERE?!" She yelled. The guy pushed Gianna off him and explained.

"Hi. I'm John. I wasn't expecting you to come, but I was after Sophia-" He started. I tackled him this time.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME" I yelled. John brushed me off this time.

"Okay okay. I'll explain everything. But one promise first."

"WHAT?!" Gianna and I growled at the same time.

"No more tackling. PLEASE!" How were we not supposed to tackle a random man who had tackled us in the first place? He practically kidn*pped us! Gianna and I groaned.
