"Max, what do you mean by brainwashing? What is the point of making Cris brainwashed?" I asked Max.
"Suzy, think about it. Cris is a famous business man. Venis wants money and his step uncle wants money too. By brianwashing Cris, Venis and his step uncle can gain his trust and and use him to make money," Max said.
"Okay, so that' why . . ." I remembered how Cris and I saw eachother on the mountain area and Cris couldn't recognize me. I sighed. After so many years, I finally found Cris and he was brainwashed. How am I going to make Cris remember everything?
"Suzy?" I heard Max said.
"Yes, look, I don't know for sure but I have a feeling that Venis have more plans. I know you love Cris and you want to make Cris remember everything about his past but before doing anything, please think about what might the outcome be."
"I don't understand, Max."
"Suzy, mom and dad told me about your daughter," I heard Max said. "3 years ago, you didn't have any weakness but today . . . Ari is your weakness," Max said.
I looked at my baby girl and saw her sleeping. I ruffled her hair as she cuddle more. I knew Max was right. "I know, Max. Ari is my daughter. She means the world to me. Of course, she is my weakness but how is that relating to Cris's brainwash . . ."
"Suzy," Max interrupted my talk. "Cris is brainwashed. Cris doesn't know you anymore, neither Cris knows about Ari. You really think that if Venis gets to know about you and Ari, he won't use Cris to attack you?" Max asked.
"Max . . ."
"Yes Suzy, Venis can do whatever he want because of money."
I knew what Max was saying was right. Venis could use Cris against us . . . Against me . . . Or, against . . . Our daughter.
"I am not stopping you from trying to make Cris remember his past but I am giving you a warning, Suzy. Do whatever you want. I know my sister is smart and I know that my Sushi can handle this but before you do anything, think about Ari's safety first," Max said as he hung up the phone.
I looked at my baby and held her on my arms. I sighed. I hugged my baby as I remembered all those times I spent with Cris before. Our small fight . . . Our romantic momment together . . . Everything about Cris . . . I miss you, Cris. Tears ran down my eyes as I remembered how Cris said that he hated me. Cris might said that before the brainwash so, that means he really hates me? More tears ran down my eyes. I wanted to ran to Cris and hug him and wanted to make him remember everything about us but at the same time, I knew Cris hate me. Cris said that before the brainwash. How can Ilove a person still after he told me thathe hates me?
I let tears ran away from my eyes as I hugged Ari and fell asleep.
The next morning . . .
I woke up and started to make breakfast for Ari. I was in the kitchen making sandwiches.
"Good morning, Suzy," I head Jimmy said as he went downstairs with Ari on his arms.
"Good morning, Jimmy," I said.
"Mommy! I have a field trip today!" Ari said.
"Mommy knows about that, baby," I heard Rachel said as she got her lunch packed.
"Sweetie, why don't you finish eating and I will drop you school?" I asked aria a she nodded, nibbling on the sandwiches.
I smiled as I went to my room and got ready for my work. I wore a simple pencil skirt and a top and ran downstairs and said bye to Jimmy and Rachel and got Ari and went out of the house.
